The last camera that I bought on April is not yet fully set and I am starting a new challenge….
Maybe it’s my idea to upgrade all my cameras from AS1600MM-C to QHY268M and ASI183MM-C to this QHY294M Pro.
I hope to get it finished soon.
It is a big change because all photographic trains are changed on my scopes now. Basically the back focus on these cameras are completely different to ZWO and even using their own filter wheel all is changed.
All these changes on the back focus produce a completely new set of measurements for the proper distance to the reducers or correctors. It’s a big thing.
For example, recently I also bought a new TS 0.8x reducer corrector for RC telescopes to improve the QHY268 results, now waiting for new thread adapters to fit it.
This reducer will be the replacement of the Riccardi reducer on this scope, bigger and specifically designed to RC optics.
I hope to show new results soon and I will share any updates here.
